Fancy owning a Ferrari owned by Eric Clapton?
The legendary guitarist – nicknamed ‘Slowhand’ but with a love of fast cars – is selling his 599 GTB Fiorano F1 via GVE London, which is advertising it on Auto Trader for £89,900.
He is said to have owned more than 10 Ferraris, and while this 07-reg 599 with 23,595 miles on the clock is undoubtedly one of the most desirable in his collection, he has gone on record before with a stated preference for the 612 Scaglietti.
Auto Trader’s YouTube director Rory Reid said: ‘The legend that is Eric Clapton is renowned for his classic car collection – after his music career of course – and it’s well known how much he loves his Ferraris.
‘He’s even made use of Ferrari’s secretive One-Off Programme in the past for a reported £3m, so you know he’s not messing around!
‘This particular Ferrari 599 is stunning and so well maintained. The fact it received Eric Clapton’s seal of approval before being sold on makes it that much more special.
‘For a blues lover, who also has the money for it, this is a perfect buy.’
The exterior paint is Nero Daytona Black, while inside is Castoror Light Brown. It also has a Bose audio system.
Power, meanwhile, comes from a 6.0-litre V12 engine with 612bhp, meaning it can reach 60mph in 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 205mph.
The musician also got rid of his Lamborghini Superleggera on Auto Trader recently, selling it for a rumoured £125,000.
