McLaren Birm’ham opens

Time 2:10 am, July 6, 2011

rybrookRYBROOK Holdings Ltd. today opens the doors to the brand new McLaren Birmingham showroom.

The development, designed by Leamington-Spa firm AT Architects Limited, will cater for prospective McLaren customers in the central regions of England and Wales.

David Tibbetts, sales director at McLaren Birmingham, said: ‘Our new showroom looks fantastic and is a great addition to the Rybrook family. It’s stunning, unique and provides us with the perfect environment to showcase the revolutionary McLaren MP4-12C.

‘I’m delighted to be representing McLaren Automotive, a British marque with one of the finest motorsport heritages and a solid reputation for engineering excellence.’

In the showroom, alongside two examples of the MP4-12C, sits Ayrton Senna’s 1993 MP4/8 McLaren Formula 1 car.

Tibbets said: ‘It’s also really exciting to have one of Ayrton Senna’s racing cars in the showroom. He is a legend and having the names ‘Senna’ and ‘McLaren’ in one of our dealerships is a defining moment in our history. The MP4-12C is as close as you can get to driving Formula 1 technology on the road, with its gearshift and steering wheel both inspired by today’s drivers.

‘Opening McLaren Birmingham just before the British Grand Prix is therefore perfect timing.’

Rybrook Holdings Ltd represents McLaren Automotive as McLaren Birmingham and joins McLaren Manchester and McLaren London in a global network of 35 of the world’s best automotive retailers, responsible for selling the all-new MP4-12C and future McLaren Automotive models.

A family-run business, with the Head Office in Warwick, Rybrook Holdings is one of the UK’s largest privately-owned retailer groups.

Sitting alongside the new McLaren automotive retail area is a new Rolls-Royce showroom and also a Rybrook Specialist cars showroom.

A new servicing facility will also open in Cofton Hackett to provide servicing and after care for all McLaren Automotive customers.
