Motorwell takes Bridport

Time 9:00 am, November 21, 2011

mitsubishi1MITSUBISHI has appointed Motorwell Limited to take over its Bridport dealership, it has been announced.

Motorwell – who have been trading since April 2008 and operate Citroen and Mitsubishi franchises in Yeovil – take over the site from the Southgate Group, which went into administration earlier this month.

Adrian Haylett, managing director of Motorwell Limited, said: ‘In August 2010, after a major showroom refit, we added Mitsubishi to our existing franchise.

‘Adding such a strong brand has proved to be a great success and has brought in new customers for sales, service and parts enabling us to strengthen our presence in the Yeovil area.

‘Although Bridport already has an outstanding reputation, we hope that by replicating the same model used in Yeovil, we can provide even better service and give our customers exactly what they want and what they deserve.

‘We are very excited to be adding another Mitsubishi dealership to our portfolio and welcoming existing and new Mitsubishi customers within the Bridport area to our dealership at this very exciting time.’

Dealer franchising manager for Mitsubishi Motors in the UK, Alan Rooke, said: ‘We are delighted that Motorwell have chosen Mitsubishi to grow their portfolio in the Dorset area. Bridport has traditionally been a very strong area for our product range and we are confident that Motorwell will serve our customers well.’

The showroom opens on January 3, 2012.
