RAWLINSON has become Mitsubishi UK’s newest dealer by officially opening their doors in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

This latest addition to Mitsubishi’s 115 strong nationwide dealer network will provide Mitsubishi sales, service and parts for the Suffolk area.

The family-run business, based at Moreton Hall industrial estate, has been a well known and successful Renault dealership for more than 21 years and is expanding by taking on the Mitsubishi Motors franchise.

Jonathan Rawlinson, managing director of Rawlinson Mitsubishi, said: ‘We are very pleased to be teaming up with Mitsubishi Motors and to be selling their great range of cars and commercial vehicles. A number of staff, who will be dedicated to serving our Mitsubishi customers, are undergoing an extensive training programme so that we give our new Mitsubishi customers the very best in advice and customer service.

‘In the summer we will be investing in a new dedicated Mitsubishi showroom here at our existing Renault Dealership therefore giving our customers added choice with a new range of exciting vehicles.

‘At a time of doom and gloom in the economy we are delighted to be investing and expanding our business in Suffolk to the benefit of our existing customers and look forward to welcoming new Mitsubishi customers to Rawlinson’s.’

Lance Bradley, managing director of Mitsubishi Motors in the UK said: ‘Rawlinson’s Mitsubishi is joining the Mitsubishi franchise at an exciting time. We are imminently launching new models to continue to build on our already strong environmental credentials which encompass new and innovative technologies.

‘We are delighted that Rawlinson’s are on board with us, they are a dealership that will certainly provide Excellent Service to both new and existing Mitsubishi customers’.
