MONDAY night’s Used Car Awards and Ewards certainly topped our leader board for this year’s ultimate event and that’s exactly why you should be entering next year.
The Brewery was once again the perfect setting for this year’s awards and as the clock struck 6.30pm, our guests and nominees were soon arriving in fine style – ladies dressed in their glamorous gowns and gentlemen suited and booted.
Dealers from across the UK made it to our annual awards evening and we couldn’t have been happier to see so many familiar – and new – faces.
More than 20 dealers took home a prestigious trophy for their achievements in the industry, while a further 40 were recognised for their outstanding efforts and received a commendation.
You can read the full list of winners and commendations by clicking here.
MD of Blackball Media, James Baggott, kicked things off with a quick welcome speech followed by Mr Wheeler Dealer himself, Mike Brewer, who took things to whole new level before announcing the winners.
Later in the evening, editor of Car Dealer James Batchelor made an appearance on the stage as he announced this year’s top websites, social media users, designers and specialists in the Ewards category.
Sadly, these things do come to an end and as the dance floor began to clear and guests filtered from the building, the Blackball Media and Car Dealer team was left with nothing to do but look back on a great evening – and also reminisce about the success of 2012’s event. We all said the same thing – ‘last year’s event was a triumph but this year’s was something else!’
Anyway, looking forward, we’ve already started planning for 2014’s Used Car Awards! So if you want to get involved, you’re keen to nominate or you think you’ve got what it takes to take away a trophy next year, then call us now – we’re waiting for the phone to ring!
Finally, I have a question: What were the highlights of your evening at the Used Car Awards? Were you one of the last dancers on the floor?
