CAP has released its latest video which gives an update on the condition of the used car market in October.
It’s the fourth video from the firm which outlines the state of the UK’s used car market.
In the video, CAP Black Book’s editor, Tim Bearder, says: ’The October Black Book was one of the hardest to call because activity in September was very, very strong.’
That was the case at the beginning of the month, but Bearder says the latter part of month saw the market slowing down. ‘Overall values in October’s at three year/60,000 miles were down 1.4 per cent – that is slightly above the normal ‘seasonal’ average of 0.8 per cent.’
The drop doesn’t worry Bearder though – lower volumes of used cars been strong three year old prices.
