Final recruitment push for Wessex’s Cribbs dealership

Time 1:30 pm, September 25, 2015

AN AWARD-WINNING leading Bristol car dealership is ramping up its search this month to find the best and most driven new recruits to staff its new state-of-the-art premises opening in December.

Wessex Garages, which already has two dealerships in Bristol, will open a third purpose-built, Nissan showroom on December 18 at Cribbs Causeway and still has vacancies to fill at the new site.

Keith Brock, Managing Director of Wessex Garages, said: ‘With only 12 weeks to go until we open our new Nissan showroom we’re doing a final recruitment drive. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to work with one of the UK’s top automotive brands. We’re looking for the best of the best to join our team at the new state-of-the-art dealership.

‘We feel it is vital to recognise and nurture our employees’ skills and there are fantastic opportunities available for the right person. Employees will receive regular performance reviews, training including manufacturer standard where appropriate, and in some cases gain qualifications on the job.

‘We have a number of roles available at the dealership in sales, customer service, Motability, service and parts and we also need delivery drivers. There are around 20 positions to fill in total. Anyone who is interested in finding out more should email their CV to [email protected].

‘We will be holding a special interview evening on Tuesday, October 6 at our Pennywell Road site, so apply now to get a time slot during the evening. The interview evening is the perfect chance to meet the team, talk about the role with senior management and really get a feel for the Wessex Garages ethos.’

The new dealership is a huge investment for Wessex Garages as the whole project will cost in the region of £5m. It will also be a centre for electric vehicles and will be an additional charging point for Bristol.

Keith added: ‘The new Nissan dealership will be on Hayes Way at Cribbs Causeway, an area that is developing and it looks set to be an excellent retail location for us.

‘We are really passionate about Bristol as it’s our home town. At a time when jobs are scarce, our new dealership will help to create some fantastic employment opportunities for people in the area.’

Wessex Garages is a privately owned company and has outlets in Bristol, Cardiff, Gloucester and Newport. It specialises in new and used car sales across South Wales and the South West.
