ALAN Day Honda has signed a three-year deal with HPI to provide provenance and mileage data on its used car stock.
‘HPI was the clear choice for us, because it could deliver a cost-effective service designed with the customer in mind,’ said financial director Steve Fossey.
The deal will see HPI used in all the South East-based dealer’s outlets – that’s Enfield, Hendon, Winchester, Southampton and Portsmouth. ‘We will benefit,’ explained Fossey, ‘from HPI’s market-leading vehicle history check and National Mileage Register Check & Investigation service.
‘Giving us even greater reassurance is HPI’s field based team, providing daily support on its range of innovative products and services. Our decision to move to a new supplier was key to the future growth of our business, which we believe is in the safe hands of HPI.’
Daniel Burgess, director of automotive at HPI, said: ‘We are delighted to have won this contract, which confirms HPI is their number one choice. In addition, the agreement is signed for 24 months, which is testament to our service, as Alan Day Honda signed a 12 month agreement with their previous supplier.
‘We will continue to launch new products that meet the changing needs of the market, helping professional retailers like Alan Day Honda maintain their reputation as a dealer of choice.’
