i10-overtakes-corsaHYUNDAI is doing its best to cheer up a gloomy January by announcing a range of VAT-free offers for 2011.

The Korean firm has decided to pay the 20 per cent VAT on selected i10, i20 and i30 Comfort models.

Hyundai’s 20 per cent contribution on the selected models is on now and will be valid until the end of March.

With this offer, the mid-range i10 Comfort 1.2-litre five-door model is available at £7,109 – a saving of £1,410 – while the i20 Comfort 1.2 three door model is reduced by £1,750 to £8,809. The i30 comes in at £11,605 for the Comfort 1.4 five-door model, a saving of £2,285.

Tony Whitehorn, Hyundai Motor UK’s managing director, said: ‘Hyundai begins 2011 by offering fantastic deals on a great range of products that are backed by our class leading five year unlimited mileage warranty. Making selected models VAT free as well as offering competitive PCP plans should make buying a new car more affordable.’
