Ford has also taken the covers off the next generation of the Fiesta. The supermini has been the UK’s best-selling car for the past eight consecutive years – it’s almost inevitable to see it top of the SMMT figures every month – so this is a really big deal for the industry as a whole.
Speaking of the SMMT, we went along to the annual dinner, where surprise guests James May and Richard Hammond from The Grand Tour turned up to address the great and the good from the motor industry.
