A BRAND new, cutting-edge Porsche Centre has just been opened by dealer group JCT600 in Teesside.
Located on Concorde Way near Stockton, Porsche Centre Teesside will complement existing centres in Leeds, Newcastle and Sheffield and serve customers from County Durham, North Yorkshire and the north-east.
The opening demonstrates a major investment in the Porsche brand and in the Teesside community with the development adding to the 37-strong Porsche Centre network across the UK and Ireland.
The eight-month redevelopment has culminated in a 35,700sq ft showroom that has capacity for 15 new Porsche vehicles and 40 pre-owned vehicles.
In addition, customers will be able to enjoy a variety of new facilities and improved services including a nine-bay workshop; executive lounge area; kids’ zone complete with iPads and gaming pod and electric charging points for hybrid vehicles.
The centre will offer the full range of Porsche services including new and pre-owned sales, servicing, parts, a service loan fleet and a full range of Porsche demonstrators.
In addition, local delivery and collection will ensure any servicing or repairs are conducted with minimal inconvenience to the customer.
John Tordoff, chief executive of JCT600, said: ‘We are proud of our long-established relationship with Porsche. Having spent two years searching for the right site on Teesside to showcase these stunning sports cars, we are pleased to have been able to find this high-profile, accessible location which will complement our Leeds, Newcastle and Sheffield Porsche Centres.
‘The new Porsche Centre is a stunning building featuring a double-height direct dialogue bay in the centre of the showroom with a glass viewing area on the mezzanine level enabling customers to view their vehicles as work is discussed. There is also a first floor owners’ club lounge with a dedicated service reception and an impressive handover bay.
‘With its location just off the A66, we look forward to welcoming customers from throughout North Yorkshire and the north-east, giving them easier access to sales and servicing of Porsche vehicles.’
