MORE than 20 jobs have been created by a dealership group as it prepares to open a Renault and Dacia showroom.

RMB Automotive’s new 12-car showroom in Barrack Road, Leeds, is due to open on November 1 and will showcase the latest Renault and Dacia vehicles, including EV products.

Managing director Robert Bennett, pictured, said: ‘I am very excited to be opening the new dealership for Renault and Dacia in Leeds. I started my motor trade career in Leeds way back in 1977 and over the years have always had a strong affinity with the city and its people, who are great to do business with.

‘The new centre will have a great showroom, and it is the first step in creating what will be a superb ownership experience for Renault and Dacia customers in Leeds and the surrounding areas.

‘RMB will shortly be commencing work on a new centre in York and is exploring other ideas for making the superb range of Renault and Dacia vehicles and services easily accessible for the motoring public of Yorkshire.’

The company is looking to recruit more than 20 new staff members, with vacancies across the spectrum.
