Karolina Edwards-Smajda, Auto Trader’s director of retailer and consumer products, said: ‘Stalwarts like the Nissan Qashqai continue to demonstrate their value as a forecourt acquisition, but this month we’ve also seen less-obvious cars like the Chrysler Ypsilon make it into the national top ten.
‘What’s really interesting, however, is the variation in speed of sale by different regions. In London, the north Wwst and Scotland, cars in the top ten took an average of fewer than 20 days to sell. However, when looking at the east of England, Wales and the south west, we found they took more than twice as long to leave forecourts.’
