EUROPE’S newest and largest Ford dealership, Perrys Chesterfield, will be holding a celebratory launch event for the public this Thursday.

Not only will visitors be able to enjoy food and music supplied by local companies, they will also be able to view the impressive new site at Spire Walk Business Park and take a look at the wide range of new cars available.

There will be plenty of activities including a virtual-reality experience and the chance to see vintage Ford vehicles.

Paul Rogers, Perrys’ East Midlands regional director, said: ‘We are delighted to be welcoming the people of Chesterfield, and the surrounding area, to our launch event and hope they enjoy the food and entertainment.

‘The £8.5 million investment we have made to create this new dealership is significant and as a result we can now offer twice as many vehicles for customers to choose from.

‘We look forward to marking the opening of the site with new and existing customers as well as our suppliers. At our new site we are committed to providing a great service for everyone in the region.’

Perrys has been in Chesterfield for 110 years and has a great reputation not only for car sales, but also for offering parts, MOTs and servicing.

With just under 400 employees working at the new showroom complex, which spans four-and-a-half acres, the enhanced dealership will remain an important part of the community and the staff are looking forward to showing off their new home to the public.

Perrys Motor Sales is an official franchise dealer for 15 well-known vehicle brands with more than 50 locations nationwide.
