THE RAC Dealer Network is to benefit from a multi-million-pound investment in its IT infrastructure from The Warranty Group.
The Warranty Group is the RAC’s partner in the motoring warranty sector and has said that its Global Warranty Platform (GLoW) will mean better products and services for the RAC’s 1,300 dealers and their customers.
Sean Kent, pictured, sales director at the RAC Dealer Network, said: ‘Worldwide, our investment in GLoW runs into tens of millions of pounds and will provide us with technology that will place The Warranty Group at the cutting edge of the motor warranty sector.
‘GLoW will make all aspects of warranty, service plan and all insurance add-ons faster, easier and more effective, whether you are a dealer selling warranties or a customer buying a warranty.
‘This is especially important in the UK motor warranty sector, which is highly developed and very competitive, and where it will help the RAC Dealer Network to introduce a new generation of products and services.
‘What we will have is a highly scaleable, secure and effective platform that will take us through the next decade or more. We are on schedule to start roll-out of GLoW to RAC dealers starting in the first quarter of next year.’
