Time 1:26 pm, December 6, 2018

SUZUKI has added a Canterbury dealership to its nationwide network.

Operated by the family-run Broad Oak Motor Group, the seven-car showroom, which is an existing Suzuki Service Centre and retailer of Approved Used cars, is in Broad Oak Road – one of the main thoroughfares leading into the city centre.

Fully refurbished to create a flagship location with state-of-the-art facilities, the 800 sq ft standalone dealership’s sales team includes a Motability specialist.

Customers can relax in the hospitality area and enjoy complimentary refreshments and newspapers, as well as free wifi, while outside is a large forecourt with a choice of more than 30 Approved Used Suzuki models..

Dale Wyatt, director of automobile at Suzuki GB, said: ‘The Broad Oak Motor Group has done an exceptional job to create a dealership that reflects the true brand values and the merits of our product range.

‘It has been encouraging to see our association grow with the business over the years, and they are the ideal partner to expand our presence in the area. Vitara and Jimny have always proved popular in the county, and with the latest versions now going on sale, the timing couldn’t have been better.’

Kevin Taunton, managing director of Broad Oak Motor Group, added: ‘To date, we have enjoyed a long-standing and successful relationship with Suzuki. Therefore, with the brand recording strong demand in the UK, coupled with a recently refreshed product range that is underscored by excellent reliability and great value, we felt that it was the right commercial decision to expand our portfolio to encompass new Suzuki car sales for the first time.

‘We look forward to welcoming motorists in east Kent and beyond to the new showroom, and I am sure that they will be very impressed with what they see.’
