Time 2:36 am, January 7, 2012

bsc-2NEW car information website carwow.co.uk has put together a bold graphic showing the 2011 new car market through statistics.

It shows the UK’s best-selling cars in 2011, along with the best and worst selling brands, and the marques who grew the most and had the biggest declines in the year.

The graphic neatly shows what happened in the new car market in 2011 – a year that saw new car volumes fall by 4.4 per cent but bettered the SMMT’s predictions.

Total volumes amounted to 1.94m units – a 0.9 per cent improvement on the SMMT’s prediction of 1.92m.
