Tucson Prime lands the paw-fect job after being adopted by Hyundai dealership staff

Time 5:04 pm, August 11, 2020

Meet Tucson Prime – the stray dog who’s become a Hyundai dealership’s mascot!

Staff at the Hyundai Serra showroom in Espirito Santo, Brazil, noticed the poor pooch hanging around outside the dealership every day, giving him water, food and shelter when it began to rain.

But it didn’t end there, with the kind-hearted workers – won over by his canine charms – soon deciding to adopt him, building a kennel for him and covering the cost of his vaccinations and deworming treatment.

He’s since been elevated to the position of canine ambassador and mascot, proving a huge hit with customers, some of whom have even brought presents for him.

Hyundai Brazil, meanwhile, has recognised him as sales dog at the dealership, and Tucson, who is about one year old, even has his own Instagram account now, which is proving to be a worldwide hit with 112,000 followers at the last count.

Manager Emerson Mariano said Tucson’s ‘very caring and docile nature’ had made a huge difference to the dealership, and the four-legged friend is now being tipped for even giddier heights as the star of a national advertising campaign for Hyundai.

From a rather ‘ruff’ start, Tucson’s certainly got plenty to bark about now!
