WITH six weeks to go, the Car Dealer team are delighted to announce that the final few exhibition stands have been snapped up at CDX16.
It means that the stage is well and truly set for the largest automotive expo of its kind in the UK – and that more than 100 businesses will be packing out the exhibition halls at The Wing, Silverstone, on Tuesday, May 24.
With more than 1,200 delegates already signed up, more than 1,500 expected on the day and more suppliers than anywhere else, this is the largest event of its size and type in the UK and the only one you need to visit.
It goes without saying that there will be hundreds of products and services to find out about, with many exhibitors – more than 50 per cent, in fact – choosing CDX as the only event they will be taking part in this year.
All in all, the massive expo will cover 5,500 square metres of floor space – that’s 45 per cent more than last year. Among the exhibitors will be dozens of household names, as well as companies familiar to us in the automotive industry.
And we’ve got pretty much the whole alphabet covered – with companies from AA Cars to ZeroLight in attendance. Many exhibitors will be offering show-only deals, enabling you to look at what your current supplier offers and maybe make a change.
And that’s not all. CDX will also include the following fantastic elements:
Workshops: To educate and inform dealers, covering key subjects from recruitment to online marketing.
Breakout sessions: We’ll be naming the top 140 dealers on Twitter and shaking it up with the return of our very special ‘Women in the Motor Industry’ session.
The Car Dealer Live Stage: There will be keynote speeches from Google, Twitter, Facebook, Haymarket Automotive and the SMMT. Plus, delegates will be able to fire questions at our senior manufacturer and franchised dealer panels in our Q&A sessions.
Dealer advice sessions: A number of industry bodies including Lawgistics will be on hand all day to answer your questions and give advice on your legal issues and rights.
