Bangers4BEN 2016 is a mere three days away and the teams are preparing for the test drive of a lifetime to the home of Ferrari in Maranello.
This year 40 teams will be taking on the challenge and raising money for BEN along the way. The teams will be covering almost 2,000 miles (as long as they don’t get lost!) on the route, which is as follows.
Day 1: Saturday, October 8 – Dover to Colmar, France (431 miles)
Day 2: Sunday, October 9 – Colmar to Maranello, Italy (373 miles)
Day 3: Monday, October 10 – Maranello to Strasbourg, France (352 miles)
Day 4: Tuesday, October 11 – Strasbourg to Dover (461 miles)
Car Dealer will be live tweeting the event, so follow @CarDealerMag to get all the latest updates. But, if you want to keep up with your favourite teams, see who else will be taking part in the list below.
Writers Jon Reay and Laura Thomson will be driving together, plus Blackball Media MD Andy Entwistle will be in another car and events coordinator Amy Duff will be support vehicle for the trip.
The AA will be on hand in four vehicles too, just incase the cars are more bust than bang.
