CDX17 is back on May 23 and there are more reasons than ever before that you should be at the largest motor trade event in the UK.
Last year more than 2,100 delegates made it to the event, but already Car Dealer Magazine is anticipating 3,000 will attend the show in 2017 to take in the wide range that is on offer in the 38,000 square feet of exhibition space.
This year’s Live Stage will feature keynote speeches from the likes of technology giants Google, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter about making the most of your online presence and engaging customers with your brands.
Google UK’s automotive industry manager Scott Sinclair said: ‘I can’t think of another UK based event that brings together so many from across the industry into one place. If there was one event not to miss, it’s CDX17.’
The SMMT’s chief executive Mike Hawes will also be taking to the stage to give some insight into trends in the market and predictions for the months ahead.
Hawes said: ‘SMMT is pleased to be supporting CDX once again and the 2017 version looks to be the best yet. It’s an excellent opportunity to touch base with dealers and others in the retail sector and hear first-hand what’s happening on the forecourts. I look forward to speaking with industry leaders on the key challenges and opportunities for the sector in the next 12 months.’
New for 2017 will be the Car Dealer Theatre, where you will be able to hear about the most recent products to hit the market and how they could drastically improve your dealership through Dragon’s Den style pitches. Try out your best Duncan Bannatyne impression and put your questions to our line-up.
Like last year the Live Stage will also include industry panel discussions from the top UK franchise groups, manufacturers and independent dealers. However, this year the programme is extended and will include more interesting panels that will be unveiled over the coming weeks.
Interactive forums will be taking place throughout the day, covering different topics to improve your business – including a profit clinic to save you money.
