AUDI brand director at Marriott Motor Group, Mark Dockerill, has achieved a Master of Business Administration degree from Loughborough University.
Dockerill has become the first individual in the Audi UK network to reach such an achievement through Audi’s LEAD senior manager development programme.
In 2012, Audi UK offered the possibility of working towards a degree as part of their development of senior management. Dockerill was accepted to study for an MBA with the course starting in March 2013.
He said: ‘It was without doubt the biggest personal challenge I have embarked on to date, but equally the most rewarding. I can reflect very positively on those new friends I have made, who have all played a part in my achievement.’
An additional challenge for Dockerill was to successfully complete the course whilst continuing to maintain his position at the time of head of business at Bury St Edmunds Audi.
Ian Woodward, Marriott Group operations director, said: ‘I am very proud of Mark’s achievement, having graduated with his MBA alongside doing his day job.
‘Mark is the first person within the Audi UK retailer network to have successfully completed the course which shows what a challenge it must have been. All of his colleagues join me in congratulating him.’
As well as progressing academically, Dockerill’s career is going great guns too – he moved to the role of Audi brand director at the Marriott Motor Group a year ago.
