Purvey, previously sales director at BCA, will be responsible for the integrated sales and marketing structure across the company’s operating divisions. He will report directly to executive chairman Avril Palmer-Bauneck.
Palmer-Bauneck said: ‘Craig’s appointment will allow greater focus on the strategic support we can give to our customers both in the UK and Europe. The industry is increasingly seeking partners that can look across the supply chain to deliver solutions that drive innovation and efficiency.’
The move also sees Ann Ritchie-Cox will take up the position of director – group accounts.
Purvey said: ‘BCA is uniquely positioned in the market to drive innovation throughout the supply chain. I look forward to working with customers to developing new ways of working that add value in a rapidly evolving industry.’
