Safe and Sound partners with Carsnip to maximise sales

Time 3:51 pm, February 15, 2018

DEALERSHIPS offering the Safe and Sound Ultimate used car warranty scheme will now have their stock listed for free on Carsnip Premium, to help them grow their businesses online.

Safe and Sound has partnered with Carsnip.com, the UK’s largest used car search engine, in an exclusive initiative which is promoting its rapidly-growing dealer network to millions of in-market buyers each month.

Stock is free to list on Carsnip’s organic results, however the listings of Safe and Sound dealerships will appear at the very top of all relevant searches funded by parent company WMS Group – therefore maximising inquiries for the dealer.

The partnership, which came into force last month, has already achieved great results having generated more than 20,000 clicks to Safe and Sound dealers’ stock listings.

Several dealers have also confirmed that Carsnip was responsible for ‘significant increases’ in sales volumes, compared to previous years.

John Colinswood, WMS Group’s managing director, pictured, said: ‘We believe that this partnership is an excellent move, which will only strengthen our position in the warranty sector further.

‘Carsnip have revolutionised the car-buying process and with stock free to advertise on the organic search model, it’s a win-win for dealerships.’

Carsnip connects buyers and sellers more quickly by taking potential customers straight to the vehicle listing on the dealer’s website. It recently passed the milestone of having more than 800,000 used cars listed.

Alastair Campbell, CEO of Carsnip, said: ‘Teaming up with Safe and Sound is already proving to be a real boost for dealers and car buyers, and we are delighted to be working with them as our sole warranty partner.’
