Snows opens Suzuki franchise in Basingstoke

Time 9:29 am, August 7, 2017

SNOWS Motor Group has opened a Suzuki franchise dealership in Basingstoke.

The existing premises in Brunel Road, Houndsmills, have undergone an extensive refurbishment, resulting in a state-of-the-art 200 sq m showroom with a spacious customer hospitality area boasting free wi-fi and complimentary refreshments.

The team, which has dedicated Motability and fleet specialists, is led by dealer principal Adam Lawrence. There are also on-site workshops for routine maintenance and repairs.

Neil McCue, group board director of Snows Motor Group, said: ‘Basingstoke has always proved to be a high footfall location and we have a long-established and strong presence in the town. However, there was no Suzuki representation within the local catchment area, and therefore our site on Brunel Road was ideal to expand our portfolio with the brand. We look forward to welcoming visitors to the new showroom and matching affordable and great-value models to their requirements.’

The unveiling of the Hampshire site – Snows’ second Suzuki showroom – follows last year’s launch of the retailer’s first in Poole, Dorset.

Dale Wyatt, sales and marketing director at Suzuki GB, added: ‘We are delighted to see the continued growth of the Suzuki franchise by the Snows Motor Group, who have an excellent track record for vehicle sales in Basingstoke. It also builds on a very successful first year in Poole, and with the recent introduction of the all-new Swift, one of our most popular models, it is the perfect time to be strengthening their Suzuki business.’
