CRESCENT Motoring from Burton on Trent in Staffordshire has scooped Motor Codes’ UK Garage of the Year Award.
Anderson Clark of Inverness was presented with the runners-up prize and a separate award was presented to the Test Centre of Deptford which was commended for its commitment to providing a high level of customer service.
The gongs were presented at this week’s Auto Express Car of the Year Awards in London.
Garages from across the regions participated in a three-month-long round of customer nominations organised by Motor Codes, the government-approved good garage scheme. The competition highlighted the best-rated garages in each of the regions, and provided an opportunity for motorists to recognise the excellent workmanship and first-class customer service available from garages right across the country.
Motor Codes’ online garage finder at motorcodes.co.uk holds thousands of online customer reviews, allowing consumers to find their closest, trusted government-approved garages wherever they are. This in turn has helped drive up the quality of service and customer care across the whole industry.
Mark Terry, managing director of Motor Codes, said: ‘All of our finalists are great ambassadors for the industry and they should be proud of their achievement.’
Motorists who submitted reviews during the competition period have been entered into a prize draw to win a number of exhilarating driving days on offer, including an Ultimate Supercar Driving experience at Thruxton.
