SW CAR Supermarket has moved into its new state-of-the-art showroom, following a £10m investment.
The site in Peterborough has space for up to 800 cars and features a preparation centre with a 360-degree rotating turntable, a call centre, a customer lounge with an iPad-equipped research hub and a service centre with eight mechanical bays and a paint shop. An updated website has also been launched alongside the new building.
Speaking to Car Dealer, SW Car Supermarket’s managing director, Anton Khan, said the new facility can provide employment for up to 48 people.
The investment in the new showroom represents a major step forward for the brand, which was founded in 2009.
In addition, SW Car Supermarket has purchased a plot of land in Derby with the intention of opening a second site there, although plans are still under discussion.
Commenting on the new Peterborough showroom, Khan told us: ‘We are extremely proud to have created such a wonderful experience for customers, who can visit us in a totally modern and non-pressurised environment. Our new website has been launched and adds a positive touch to our overall branding.
‘Our expansion means that we will now be able to retail up to 400 units per month, with a strong F&I performance to increase profitability and enable to focus more on repeat business.’
