FAMILY-owned and run motor retailer, the Swansway Group, has scooped the South Cheshire Chamber of Commerce Employer of the Year Award for the second year running.
The award backed by Manchester Metropolitan University, recognises the employer whose initiatives give their workforce support in their chosen career path as well as keeping the whole team motivated and engaged.
A delighted David Smyth, director, commented: ‘To win this award last year was amazing, but to win twice in a row is a real validation of the way we run our business.
‘As a family-owned and run business we see our employees as an extension of our family. We try to nurture talent and promote from within and we genuinely want to be a great place to work.’
Swansway’s family atmosphere and happy workforce has seen the North West-based business rise up the Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For List for four consecutive years, currently sitting at number 32.
David added: ‘For us the family feel is everything, because happy staff lead to genuinely happy customers.’
The Group operates 19 dealerships, across 11 brands, from Preston in the North to Birmingham in the South.
