SUBARU UK has appointed Chris Graham as its new UK managing director.
Graham, pictured, took up the post today, replacing Paul Tunnicliffe, who has left the position to become automotive development director for IM Group.
Having held several commercial roles at Subaru in the past, Graham has plenty of experience with the company and is well-equipped for the job.
Before taking up his new role with Subaru, Graham was the managing director of Citroen and DS in Ireland. He has also been responsible for strategic and tactical operations for IM Group, and has 20 years of experience as a British and European importer.
Graham’s appointment comes as Subaru prepares to launch its new XV model and the ‘Better Where It Matters’ advertising campaign. The company said that Graham’s ‘vision and direction for Subaru UK is positive and empowering, challenging the network to become the fastest growing car brand in 2018’.
Commenting on his appointment, Graham said: ‘I’m looking forward to working together with the Subaru team and network to push the brand forward in 2018 and bring Subaru to the forefront of the industry.
‘My vision for Subaru to become the fastest growing brand of 2018 is bold, it’s ambitious, but, most importantly, its realistic. Subaru, as a brand, has historically been quietly confident in what its cars can do. This is the time to be proud of what our cars can offer to a range of customers, truly showing a Subaru is better where it matters.’
