EPYX has become an approved supplier to the Independent Motor Dealers Association.
The move means the e-commerce specialist will adhere to a code of conduct when conducting business with dealers, adhere to honour and integrity rules, and provide preferential pricing.
Commercial director Tim Meadows, pictured, said: ‘We currently work with more than 9,000 dealers across the UK through our platforms in a range of areas from service and maintenance to providing high-quality used car stock.
‘Becoming an approved supplier to the IMDA will allow us to reach a greater number of independent dealers as well as opening up a dialogue with the organisation itself on the needs and priorities of their members.’
David Bilsborough of Cheshire Cars, one of the founders of the IMDA, said: ‘Our Approved Supplier programme is an important part of the IMDA, helping provide our members with the best terms from industry-leading suppliers.
‘Epyx has a long-standing reputation as a leader in motor industry e-commerce and we are very pleased to see them come on board as part of the initiative.’
Formed in 2017, the IMDA was created to represent, support and become the voice of independent car and LCV dealers as well as independent franchise dealers in the UK, and now has 300 members.
