MG Motor UK has increased its footprint in London with the opening of WLMG Marylebone.

Located in Marylebone Road at MG’s office, the launch of the new showroom serves customers in the West End and is seen as a key addition to the brand’s nationwide dealer network.

The new site joins the fast-growing MG dealer network, taking the total to 91 dealers across the country.

To support it, WLMG simultaneously launched its first MG aftersales centre in Ruislip, which incorporates a workshop and is staffed by a team of technicians to carry out maintenance of all MG products.

Neal Benstead, managing director of the privately owned multi-franchise WLMG, which was founded in 1996 and also has dealerships in Reading, Ruislip, Eastcote and High Wycombe, said: ‘MG is a new brand for the group, and we are extremely excited to begin our partnership.

‘Particularly attractive to us is the brand’s strong investment in future products and electrification, crystallised by the upcoming launch of the new MG ZS Electric later this year. MG has a bright future and we want to be part of this exciting journey.’

David Allington, network development manager at MG Motor UK, said: ‘We are always delighted to welcome new members like WLMG to the MG family.

‘Our product portfolio offers excellent value for money, reflected in the continuous interest that we’ve seen from prospective dealership partners across the country. The new dealership, together with the aftersales centre in Ruislip, will expand our brand presence in the capital while increasing our ability to serve our ever-growing customer base.’

WLMG Marylebone boasts a six-car showroom with the full range of current MG models on display. Also on show at the dealership are three heritage MG models: an MG TF, MG RV8 and MG WA Saloon.
