Suzuki Maldon enjoys success during fairground-themed showroom launch

Time 9:00 am, August 21, 2018

SUZUKI Maldon is celebrating success following the official opening of its showroom at Wycke Hill Business Park in Essex.

More than 300 visitors attended the three-day event at the contemporary six-car dealership, which is operated by the fourth generation of the Gozzett family, who founded the Quest Motor Group in 1924.

In keeping with the theme of Suzuki’s latest advertising campaign, centred around a bumper cars ride, Suzuki Maldon hosted a range of attractions to keep the whole family entertained, including a magician, street food and luxury ice creams, plus activities for children such as face painting and rides on micro scooters.

More than 60 test drives of cars from the Suzuki line-up took place in urban and rural settings, with the Swift supermini, Ignis compact crossover and Vitara compact SUV proving especially popular. This resulted in several people taking advantage of the exclusive deals to get behind the wheel of a new Suzuki, as well as the opportunity to meet managers based at Suzuki GB’s head office in Milton Keynes, who made a surprise visit.

Martin and Robin Gozzett, owners and directors of the Quest Motor Group, said in a statement: ‘We were delighted to welcome some new and familiar faces, and with so many attractions to appeal to all age groups in the summer sunshine it was really nice for everyone.

‘It was equally a great way of getting the showroom off the ground and expanding our reach within the local community – plus with the imminent arrival of the new ’68 vehicle registration, the timing couldn’t have been better.’

Sally Steward, marketing transformation manager at Suzuki GB, who was at the launch, added: ‘First impressions count, and the team at Suzuki Maldon did a fantastic job with the launch to showcase the exceptional value and service that Suzuki provides to today’s motorists.

‘We would like to congratulate them on an excellent start to the franchise, and there’s an exciting few months to look forward to, thanks to the arrival of the latest Vitara and Jimny models.’
