Merc dealer wins award

hl-garagesMERCEDES-Benz dealer H & L Garages have been awarded a special accolade for its training programmes.

The South Killingholme-based dealership was presented the National Training Awards 2010 ‘Winner of the Year’ accolade by UK Skills at a special ceremony in London.

H & L Garages was given the award for its staff training programme introduced during the recession which has led to the dealership becoming the highest performing Mercedes-Benz dealer in the UK.


Brett Whittingham, managing director, H&L Garages Ltd said:  ‘We are honoured to have been presented with the NTA Winner of the Year Award.

‘The fact that we have been measured against some of the best organisations from across the UK to win this award confirms that what we are doing is right. In having staff that are well-trained, motivated and engaged, we are in a great position to capitalise on the economic recovery when it comes.’
