ELEVEN members of staff at Wessex Garages in Cardiff raised £210 for charity after taking part in a five-kilometre run.
The employees signed up for the Natwest Cymru 5K Fun Run in aid of George Thomas Hospice Care on Sunday, March 13 at Roald Dahl Plass, Cardiff Bay.
Gareth Howells, General Manager at the dealership on Hadfield Road, who took part in the run, said: ‘It’s fantastic that so many of our staff members took part to raise funds for our Charity of the Year. Thanks also to all the friends and family who supported us.
‘The £210 raised will be added to throughout the year with other fundraising events. George Thomas Hospice Care is such a vital lifeline for so many people and their families in the local area and we’re delighted to be able to help them during 2016.’
