TrustFord invests in four new dealerships and creates 130 new roles

Time 11:17 am, August 7, 2018

TRUSTFORD will be making a significant investment into its showrooms and work force, with the redevelopment of four dealerships into Ford Stores and the creation of over 130 new roles across England, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands.

The dealer group is currently working to redevelop its Cribbs Causeway (Bristol) and Staines showrooms, both of which are expected to open in Autumn. Sites in Newtonards Road and Lisburn, Northern Ireland are set to begin redevelopment at the tail-end of the year.

The transformation of the four sites into Ford Stores will see them house display areas for the brand’s full range, including prestigious models such as the Focus RS and Mustang. It will also allow TrustFord to better serve the needs of its clientele.

In addition, new roles across the business, including 77 apprenticeships and over 60 technicians with positions in mobile smart repair and alloy wheel preparation, are being opened to applications.

Stuart Foulds, chairman and CEO of TrustFord, said: ‘We’re always looking for ways to invest in our business so that we drive the standard in customer care in the automotive retail sector. The redevelopment of these four sites, alongside the funding provided to develop our talented workforce represents just that.

‘The expansion of the dealerships is a key milestone for us, as this investment gives us the scale and resources to meet our customers’ needs today and, importantly, into the future.

‘I’m looking forward to seeing how these new facilities will help colleagues both in Cribbs Causeway and Staines to continue to deliver the excellence in service that they are known for.’
